About David Tvildiani Medical University

David Tvildiani Medical University (DTMU) is a medical higher education institution in Tbilisi, Georgia. Its origins date to the establishment of AIETI Medical School in 1989 by Academician David Tvildiani and Dr Dimitri Tvildiani. The institution later gained university status and has operated under the name David Tvildiani Medical University since 2011.

DTMU is dedicated to scientifically oriented medical education based on international experience. Its academic environment combines medical sciences, clinical education, research and modern approaches to teaching, helping students prepare for professional careers in medicine.
